Essential Job Functions

  • Administer and document company safety programs
  • Provides safety training to full & part-time employees on a regular basis
  • Manages and maintains records for incident reporting system
  • Manages record-keeping for all agent training hours and drug screening process
  • Drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Demonstrate procedural compliance at all times
  • Fire Extinguisher monthly inspection (fbo & hangers)
  • Acts as Authorized Badge Signer for PCA, manages the badging and auditing process with both PDA and CBP (customs stickers)
  • Act as liaison with airport authorities, flight crews and public security personnel
  • Performing ongoing internal audits and monitor training programs for department managers

Position Overview for Avionics Technician;

Port City Air/New Hampshire Helicopters Inc., a well-established, rapidly growing Part 145 Repair Station and FBO is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Avionics Technician. The Avionics Technician job is a full time position requiring a thorough understanding of aircraft avionics systems, installations, repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate must possess a working knowledge of various manufacturers products including Garmin, Aspen, Avidyne, BendixKing, L3, S–TEC, Insight, JPI, MidContinent, and more.

Duties for Avionics Technician:

Full-time Aviation Ramp Service Agent (Portsmouth N.H.)

A rapidly growing General Aviation / FBO Facility at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease is seeking full time individuals (aviation experience preferred) who value hard work, respect for all people, and who work well in a team based environment.

Duties, Responsibilities and Attributes:

• Provide ground service for all sizes of aircraft, for example: marshalling to parking area, refueling, servicing of lavatory and water systems, ground power units, towing and deicing.
• Perform the day-to-day housekeeping and grounds keeping for a wide range of airport facilities.
• Must be physically capable of safely working with and around various types of equipment while outside in all types of weather, day or night.
• This role is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Night, weekend, bad weather and holiday working hours are required as part of the normal work schedule.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
• Solid oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to pass FAA and Homeland Security background checks as required at Airport Terminal and within high security SIDA facilities.
• Subject to routine drug and alcohol screenings.
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers and customers in a highly respectful manner.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Aviation experience is preferred but not mandatory, training will be provided.

Part-time position, multiple openings, with shift schedules that vary based on 24/7 operations. Potential for 15+ hours per week based on operational need, employee availability and training proficiency level. This is a fast paced, team oriented position that reports directly to the Charter Operations Manager. Duties vary based on operational need and include, but are not limited to, greeting and providing customer service to flight crews on inbound aircraft, cleaning and stocking aircraft, transporting passengers and flight crews, and occasionally removing and loading baggage.

Charter Operations Assistant Job Requirements / Conditions:
Providing excellent verbal and written communication with customers, managers and co-workers is required and essential.
Computer/Internet access is required for online-based work scheduling system (accessible via mobile device) and email communication.
Previous aviation experience is not necessary, training will be provided.
Ability to move freely, carry light loads short distances and move up and down stairs is required.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds is required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee can be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
Operational noise levels can be excessive at times, personal hearing protection is provided.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and able to pass a background check.
A pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is mandatory.
