Food Truck (Cook)

Great Circle Catering is the Seacoast area’s premier full-service caterer for personal and corporate events including weddings, summer BBQs, holiday parties, in-flight meals, and more. GCC has many off-site locations as well including a few mobile food trucks, the Southend Yacht Club, the Airside Café located at the Portsmouth International Airport and What-A-Crock located at the Pease food court at Manchester Square.

Our food truck cooks have a lot of fun working outside, meeting great people and preparing food items for patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Customer service
• Working in food truck in all weather conditions
• Setting up and breakdown work areas
• Stocking and organizing work areas
• Food prep
• Preparing food items as requested
• Maintaining high food quality standards
• Perform the day-to-day housekeeping
• Driving the food truck
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Good attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass the FAA and Homeland Security background checks as well as complete a pre-employment drug screening.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
